In the year 2000, Oscar Olivera was the spokesperson for a successful people’s movement to prevent the privatization of water in Cochabamba, Bolivia. At the 2013 School of Authentic Journalism, he and other school participants produced this video to show how everyday objects and symbols were transformed into powerful tools for communication during the successful movement.
